There’s Nothing Better Than This Mouthwatering Ice Cream Trail In Utah

There's nothing better than the creamy, cool sweetness of homemade ice cream on a hot summer day, and those days are right around the corner! Here's an ice cream trail that will take you to some of Utah's best creameries - from Logan all the way down to Santaquin.

This mouthwatering ice cream trail covers 181 miles and takes you to eight incredible ice cream parlors. Click here for the map and directions.

1. Casper's Ice Cream, Richmond

Casper's has been around since 1925, and its the home of the famous Fat Boy ice cream sandwich. Score a fresh one for yourself at their malt shop near the factory where they create these bad boys daily. 11805 N. 200 E., Richmond.

2. Aggie Ice Cream, Logan

The creamery at Utah State University churns out some incredibly delicious ice cream, including the famous Aggie Blue Mint. This delicacy is made up of mint ice cream with Oreo bits and white chocolate chips. 750 North 1200 East, Logan.

3. Farr Better Ice Cream, Ogden

The Farr family has been creating ice cream since 1920, and is one of Utah's oldest creameries. You'll find over 70 homemade flavors here. 274 East 21st Street, Ogden.

4. Nielsen's Frozen Custard, Millcreek

This place serves up homemade goodness this isn't exactly ice cream, but Utahns are so crazy about it that we felt like it should be included. You'll find multiple locations of Nielsen's Frozen Custard along our ice cream trail. Pictured is the Millcreek location at 3918 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek; there are locations in Bountiful and South Jordan as well.

5. Leatherby's Family Creamery, Taylorsville

The Leatherby Family makes its ice cream right there in the shop, and you can even watch! Everything is homemade, and the portions are enormous. Shown is the Taylorsville location; you'll find other parlors in Midvale and Salt Lake City.

6. BYU Creamery, Provo

You'll find dozens of homemade flavors at this BYU campus ice cream parlor. 1209 N. 900 E., Provo.

7. Eli's Old Fashioned Ice Cream and Soda Shop, Payson

Eli's doesn't make its own ice cream, but it serves up tasty confections from the BYU Creamery and Rowley's Red Barn. You'll find it at 7 South Main Street, in Payson.

8. Rowley's Red Barn, Santaquin

You've probably stopped by Rowley's for fresh fruit, but did you know that they also make some incredible homemade ice cream? The Santaquin location is at 901 S. 300 W., but if you ever find yourself in Saint George, there's a location there, too.
