Choosing a restaurant the entire family will enjoy is no easy task. And as a mom of three young children, there is nothing worse than going out to eat, only to hear complaints the entire time. That’s why you need to take your family to Woody’s Drive-In in Murray. This is a fast-food restaurant with an old-fashioned diner theme, delicious burgers, and above-the-rim shakes. There is something here for everyone.

Woody’s Drive-In will quickly become a favorite restaurant in the Salt Lake Valley. This 50s-themed, family-owned restaurant is located at 6172 S 1300 E in Murray.

This restaurant will certainly make you feel like you’ve stepped decades into the past. You’ll see images of old cars all over the walls …

… and a jukebox in the corner that will quickly capture your attention.

And while the décor of this restaurant will have something that appeals to every member of the family, we particularly love the food.

Wood’s Drive-In serves lunch and dinner six days a week — it is closed on Sundays. The menu is packed with all types of items, but I am particularly fond of the burgers.

There are all types of burgers on the menu including a traditional cheeseburger, bacon burger, bacon mushroom burger, bleu bacon burger, and more.

Try a wrap or a salad if you are looking for something fresh and light.

The sandwiches are also delicious. With options ranging from a BLT to a grilled Reuben, you will satisfy any craving.

Young kids will love the corn dogs or chicken nuggets. Just make sure you don’t forget the fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, or one of the other delicious sides.

However, many people come to Wood’s Drive-In for one thing — the ice cream. This family-friendly restaurant is known for its incredible frozen treats.

However, I love a thick, tall shake and that’s exactly what you will find at Woody’s Drive-In. The shakes at this restaurant sit high above the rim and there is a long list of flavors to choose from to satisfy any sweet tooth.

The vibe, food, and good company are just some of the reasons you will find yourself coming back to Woody’s Drive-In. It’s a family-friendly restaurant everyone will enjoy.
