Any place worth visiting has food it's famous for - Philadelphia has cheesesteaks, Chicago has deep-dish pizza, and Maryland has crabs. In Utah, the unofficial state food is the pastrami cheeseburger. Many proprietors attempt the perfect blend of meats and warm melted cheese on a buttery bun, but none do it better than Crown Burgers.
Crown Burgers is a small chain in the Salt Lake City area. All locations boast the same exceptional pastrami burger.
The hands-down favorite at this Utah establishment is the "Crown Burger." It features delicious char-broiled beef, melted cheese, and of course, pastrami.

For variety's sake, you don't always have to have your top-notch pastrami on a burger. Some patrons love it solo in a more traditional sandwich.
Many say the best finish to a Crown Burger is a cold, thick milkshake. Try the Oreo, pineapple, or caramel shake.
It should be noted that Crown Burgers offers an extensive menu of tasty fare beyond their incredible burgers. Souvlaki, halibut, and vegetarian options are available if you simply must forgo the Crown Burger.
Though Crown Burgers pepper Salt Lake City, unique elements in the pristine stores help customers remember its more humble, family-owned beginning.
Started by a Greek family in 1978, Crown Burgers now has several locations located in Salt Lake City and the surrounding area. Head to its website to find the addresses of all of them, along with the story of how the eatery came to be, its menu, and hours of operation.
Virgin is a small town in southern Utah, just a short drive from Zion National Park. It sits along the Virgin River, and like many communities in the Beehive State, has pioneer roots that date back to the mid-1800s. While there is much to love about this town and plenty to see and do, when hunger strikes there is one place you must go — Balcony One. This southern Utah restaurant offers inspiring panoramic views. A visit here will quickly make you realize why so many people love this area of the state.

Balcony One is an American restaurant with a Mediterranean twist. Here, you’ll find a dinner menu featuring a variety of dishes, a delightful cocktail bar, and views you’ll never want to forget. You can find Balcony One at 770 West State Road 9 in Virgin.
It seems like every detail of this restaurant is designed to impress. Inside, you’ll find a brightly decorated dining room with eye-catching décor. However, if you are like me, you’ll want to dine on the outdoor patio and enjoy the view. Guests 21 years and older are allowed on the outdoor patio and here, they can receive panoramic views of the landscape that this area is well known for. Plus, it isn't uncommon to enjoy live music as you dine, truly elevating your experience.
While the vibe of this Virgin, Utah restaurant is certainly impressive, so is the food. The menu is packed with a variety of fresh dishes from appetizers and entrees to a children’s menu and delicious desserts. With so many delicious options on the menu, you may have a hard choice choosing your meal. The menu features items such as ribeye, pork chops, and oven-roasted chicken. There are also items like the seared ahi tuna, which is flown in fresh from Hawaii. And, of course, pair your meal with a cocktail and you have a dining experience to remember.
While children may not be allowed to sit on the outdoor patio, there are still plenty of things they’ll love about this restaurant — including the food. The children’s menu features items like pizza, grilled cheese sandwiches and chips, penne, and more. The children’s menu items are only $10 each.
For me, a sweet treat is the perfect way to end a meal and at Balcony One, there are delicious desserts available such as the house-made cheesecake, baklava, and flourless chocolate torte.
In addition to the incredible environment, great views, and fabulous food, Balcony One also has additional amenities and services such as a large banquet room that can seat up to 40 people and a free chauffeur service that will take you to and from the restaurant and bar.

And if this is your first time visiting Virgin, we recommend staying for a while. Consider booking a cozy vacation home in the area as your base camp. Just make sure to give yourself a few days to explore Zion National Park. There is a reason it’s one of the most popular national parks in the country.
It doesn’t matter the time of the year, Sundance Resort makes for one incredible getaway. Visit in the winter and ski, snowboard, or relax in Utah’s natural beauty. In the summer, there are seasonal outdoor adventures like the resort’s zipline, scenic chair lifts, and miles and miles of mountain biking trails. And while you can certainly stay at Sundance for several days, there’s nothing quite like a day trip and a meal at one of the best restaurants in Utah (you may even say it is one of the best restaurants in the U.S.) — The Tree Room.

The Tree Room is where you’ll enjoy more than a meal — you’ll have an entire dining experience. The Tree Room dates back to 1970 when Robert Redford built the first building at the resort, a charming cabin that was built around a large tree.
Today, when you visit The Tree Room, you’ll immediately notice the restaurant’s historic, rustic charm. I recommend you spend a few minutes looking around. There's so much to see in this restaurant including Native American pottery and art, photos of Redford’s films, and even large windows where you can admire the mountain views.
There is certainly a romantic vibe at The Tree Room and this restaurant makes for a delightful date night destination. Even better, children under the age of 12 are not allowed, helping to create a more intimate, peaceful dining experience.
And while there is so much to love about The Tree Room’s atmosphere, you can’t forget about its food. This restaurant serves American cuisine with plenty of options to satisfy every craving.
The menus are seasonal and you'll want to come back throughout the year to try the different dishes and flavors. Each menu offers several entrees that are packed with fresh ingredients, unforgettable flavors, and beautiful presentations.
However, make sure you save plenty of room for dessert as you’ll find a variety of options to create the perfect finishing touch to your meal.
Reservations are strongly encouraged when dining at The Tree Room at Sundance Resort. Keep in mind that a private room is also required for any party larger than eight guests and the room must be booked through the restaurant. The Tree Room is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Tree Room is a dining experience with a romantic atmosphere, gorgeous views, and a menu that is exquisite. It’s no wonder this is one of the best restaurants in Utah … and one of the best restaurants in the U.S.
