We all have our favorite restaurants that are easy to get to and give us what we expect, and there's nothing wrong with that. Sometimes though, you find yourself wanting to step out of your comfort zone and go somewhere that you might not be as familiar with. Luckily, Rhode Island has a lot of hidden gem restaurants waiting off the beaten path to be discovered. One of those restaurants is the utterly spectacular Crows Nest Restaurant.
The Crows Nest has changed hands over the years a couple of times, but it has been a restaurant holding the same name since the mid sixties, meaning there's some real history here.
They are located on Arnolds Neck Drive in Warwick, right on the water! Make sure to give yourself some extra time before or after your meal for a relaxing stroll of the boardwalk.
The restaurant is decorated in deep rich tones and is very spacious, perfect for fitting all your loved ones for a celebratory meal perhaps?
There is also a full bar with lots of options to start, end, or compliment your meal. Or you can just pop by for a quick drink with a great view if you'd like.
Paying homage to their roots as a clam shack, the Crows Nest offers both creamy white and clear red chowder.
As well as a full seafood menu packed with options like lobster rolls, swordfish kebabs, and the always enjoyable fish and chips.
And who could resist a lobster as beautiful as this!

Portions are hearty and thoughtfully made, meaning you won't leave hungry no matter what you try. This deconstructed pot pie looks like a home run!
And if you're in the mood for turf rather than surf, you can't go wrong with a good steak.
But try not to get too stuffed, you'll need some room left for a delectable dessert like chocolate cake or pumpkin pie.
Which scrumptious menu item are you most excited to try? Every choice looks amazing at the Crows Nest. The restaurant is open from 11:30 a.m to 9:00 p.m Tuesday through Sunday, and you'll want to check out their website and follow their Facebook page to stay abreast of exciting specials.
