Eat Your Way Through Rhode Island’s Tastiest Donuts With The Best Donuts RI Love Fest

Attention, donut lovers: there's an amazing and delicious event coming up you'll want to mark on your calendars. The #BestDonutsRI Throwdown is a friendly competition among local donut shops, but for you, it means savoring 16 donuts throughout the month of February for $25. Just buy a ticket, present a coupon at each participating location, and enjoy.

Rhode Island Food Fights is a local company that organizes light-hearted, friendly culinary competitions.

The idea is that people will try a variety of places, discover some new favorites, vote for the best, and earn the restaurants some positive publicity.

In the past, these competitions have included pizza, cupcakes, cookies, and tacos.

And in February of 2020, they'll focus on finding Rhode Island's best donuts.

Your $25 ticket will earn you coupons for donuts at all 16 participating locations.

And you'll have from February 1 - 28 to try them.

Once you've tried every last donut, you'll be able to vote on your favorite. Rhode Island Food Fights even has an official judges' panel.

The panel is usually comprised of local chefs, food writers, and media personalities.

Some of the participants include KNEAD Doughnuts, Glaze'n Daze Donuts, Liberty Donuts, and Proud Mary's Donuts (pictured here).

There's even a gluten free option, Sans Gluten Artisan Bakery.

The #BestDonutsRI Throwdown will give you something to look forward to at the end of winter.
