Feast On The Finest Fried Chicken From Bucktown In Rhode Island

Their fried chicken dinners are out of this world.

Bucktown opened in the summer of 2016 on the west side of Providence.

The West End was enjoying a revitalization at the time, a trend that is continuing today.

Bucktown opened as a chicken and fish joint, a neighborhood eatery where people could come in and feel like family.

The restaurant has partnered with a lot of nearby businesses and organizations in the past and enhanced the local community.

Head chef and co-owner Ashley Faulkner can fry chicken like no one else -- and it's downright addictive.

The menu has expanded since they've opened, and the Chicken and Waffles is one of the most popular dishes.

Bucktown sells their chicken by the bucket, which includes 12 pieces.

Paired with a few select sides, it's the perfect family meal.

Ashley Faulkner has been cooking since she was a child growing up in the Bronx.

She was raised on fried chicken and other classic Southern food, and you'll definitely find some familial influence in the menu here.

But as tasty as the chicken is, the seafood here is also delicious.

While the restaurant focused on chicken dinners when current regulations mandated that it go to takeout only, seafood is finally back -- boil, anyone?

With any luck, it won't be long before we can pull up a chair and sit down in Bucktown's dining room again.
