Okie Pokie and Noodee share the same space at 2418 North Guernsey Avenue in Oklahoma City. They both opened this year and not only brought oddly named restaurants to OKC but new concepts in food, as well.

Okie Poke specializes in fresh, made-to-order poke bowls. These bowls are popular on the West Coast and not a typical cuisine you'd find in the Sooner State.

I know, I know, a bunch of you Okies are probably wondering what is a poke bowl? It's like the next generation of sushi - fresh fish cuts with custom rice and salad bowls.

The interior is very clean and modern. The restaurants are located in the former Guernsey Park restaurant location.

Ordering is so easy and fast. Just choose what items and toppings you want in your bowl and the creation is made in front of you.

Pair it with a local beer and enjoy a delicious healthy meal inside or outside in the patio area.

Noodee means naked noodles and offers a soup dish where visitors can choose from three different broths, three noodle variations, then pair it with vegetables or a protein.

Don't let these names fool you, the food is so good, we are pretty sure you'll be back for more.

Have you had the pleasure of eating at Okie Pokie yet? If so, what did you think about the poke bowls? If you're more of a meat and potato lover, make sure you check out this steakhouse in Oklahoma City.
