Yes, You Can Eat Unlimited Sushi at This Beloved New Mexico Restaurant

You can dine on unlimited sushi at Sushi King in Albuquerque. This beloved local restaurant is a must-visit for sushi lovers.

My family loves sushi, and when we go out to a local sushi restaurant, my kids want to try every roll on the menu. Because of that, our bill can be pretty high! To save money, dining at an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in New Mexico is a great idea, and there's one spot in Albuquerque that offers unlimited, freshly made rolls all day, every day, at an affordable price.

For all-you-can-eat sushi in New Mexico, Sushi King reigns supreme. Located on Coors Blvd NW in Albuquerque, this is one of the city's first sushi restaurants, opening in the early 2000s. Since then, it's become a go-to spot for sushi, sashimi, ramen, and rice and noodle dishes.

This locally owned New Mexico sushi restaurant invites customers to its all-you-can-eat experience for $29.95 for adults and $15.95 for kids ages 4-10, with kids ages 3 and under free. Available for dine-in only, you'll have 90 minutes to indulge in a variety of dishes. Try some of the salads, like the seaweed, cucumber, green, and/or squid to start.

For appetizers, there's edamame, chicken gyoza (a favorite of my kids!), crab rangoons, vegetable or chicken egg rolls, and fried calamari. There's also the Heart Attack appetizer, featuring deep-fried jalapenos stuffed with spicy tuna, crab stick, and cream cheese, topped with sriracha and spicy mayo (something I always order), and the Monkey Balls, made of deep-fried mushrooms stuffed with spicy tuna and topped with eel sauce and spicy mayo. Ramen, miso soup, fried rice, chow mein, udon, and yakisoba round out the non-sushi options. Now, let's talk about the sushi!

Whether you prefer vegetarian rolls, cooked rolls, classic rolls, or something a bit more creative from the specialty roll section of the menu, Sushi King has it all. When my family goes out for sushi, my daughter's favorite item is an avocado roll, so her all-you-can-eat sushi would consist mainly of that. However, my son and I prefer to try several rolls, from spicy tuna, unagi, and yellowtail rolls to tempura rolls like a spider, salmon tempura, or shrimp tempura.

We also enjoy trying specialty rolls, given the creativity placed in making them. Sushi King offers a Grinch Roll made with spicy tuna and soft-shell crab on the inside and avocado, bonito flakes, and tobiko flakes on top. Another must-try specialty customers rave about is the Popcorn Roll, a California roll topped with deep-fried lobster tail and served with spicy mayo and eel sauce. Yum!

One roll you should absolutely try, given the state Sushi King is located in, is the New Mexico Roll. This vegetarian roll features green chile tempura, cucumber, avocado, spicy mayo, and sriracha—absolutely unique and absolutely New Mexico!
