The Frozen Wine Slushies From This Nebraska Vineyard Are A Delicious Summer Treat

Deer Springs Winery in Lincoln offers unique wine slushies and live music events in a charming restored farmhouse setting.

What's better in summer than a frozen drink? How about if that frozen drink is made with your favorite adult beverage? This winery in Lincoln offers delicious beverages all year round, but in the summer they bring out wine slushies that are so tasty you may never want to drink regular wine again.

Welcome to Deer Springs Winery on the outskirts of Lincoln!

This popular spot features a tasting room located in a restored 1880s farmhouse, which makes for an utterly charming experience.

The wines are uniquely Nebraskan; whether you're up for a red, white, or rose, there's something here that you'll love.

Come by in the summer, however, for a treat that's both delicious and refreshing.

Deer Springs' wine slushies are a treat like no other. Their icy texture plays off of the smooth wine flavors to bring you a drink you'll want to keep refilling all summer.

You can do just that with one of the winery's souvenir cups. Keep bringing it back for refills every time you visit!

The slushies come in different flavors which rotate through the menu. Strawberry, sangria, and peach bellini are some crowd favorites.

Although the winery itself doesn't serve food, there are food vendors in the summer months that offer tasty snacks or meals on summer weekends.

You are also welcome to bring your own food, but due to health code restrictions, it has to stay in the outdoor seating area.

The outdoor picnic area is the perfect place to sit down, relax, and enjoy a bottle of wine and a snack. Grab a wine slushie and have a seat with good friends for an unforgettable evening.

Live music events are a regular weekend attraction at Deer Springs. Local bands + local wine = maybe the perfect Nebraska evening.

Address: 16255 Adams Street, Lincoln, NE 68527. Find the winery's hours, event schedule, and more on its website or Facebook page.
