Of all the waterfront restaurants in Michigan, one of the best is located right here in town; it's called Apache Trout Grill, and it's home to not just an awesome menu. The lake views from nearly everywhere in the place make it even more worth seeking out.

Apache Trout Grill was originally established in 1994 as a love letter to the freshest possible food available 'round here: fish just-caught from Lake Michigan.

And that's exactly what you can expect... among other things, of course. Nothing you can order is bad, from the fresh fish to the steaks and everything in between - but more on that in a moment.

The overall vibe inside is a laid-back family grille sort of place, with plenty of seats available outdoors for the best reason possible:
