New Deal Fruit and Deli in Revere, Massachusetts, offers a wide variety of delicious sandwiches, fresh produce, and Italian specialty items in a friendly, old-school atmosphere.
If you love a great sandwich, you will be hard-pressed to find a more delicious place to buy one than the New Deal Fruit and Deli! This old-school Italian shop has been a fixture in the coastal town of Revere, Massachusetts for decades. With a mix of friendly staff, fresh food, and an authentic atmosphere, I promise you will be hooked after one visit.
New Deal was opened over 50 years ago and has been continuously operated by four generations of the Petruzzelli family.
The shop is an old-school business known for its quality produce and delicious deli sandwiches. Prices are affordable and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They will often greet repeat customers by name.
The deli menu at New Deal is absolutely huge! There are hot subs, cold subs, and over two dozen specialty sandwiches to choose from.
Many of these have fun names like Tony Soprano, Big Bambino, and The Eastie.
This delicious Neapolitan special is packed with chicken cutlets, prosciutto, roasted red pepper, and mozzarella cheese.
New Deal Deli also provides catering for large parties and events.
They can make a number of foot-long subs as well as several different party platters.
If you love cheese, you are in luck! New Deal carries 50 different varieties.
One of my favorites is Asiago!
And let's not forget the fresh fruits and veggies! At New Deal, you can find almost any kind of produce you are looking for.
The store also carries over 200 kinds of dry Italian pasta, as well as Italian cakes, candies, and other specialty items.
