Harmon’s Lunch In Maine Is Overflowing With Deliciousness And Old-School Charm

Eating in Maine is one of our favorite things to do! Whether it's a five-star restaurant in Portland or a small spot on the side of the road further inland, the variety and the folks who make this food are top-notch. At the top of our list of favorites are the spots that have been around (seemingly) forever. This one is a great example.

If you're hungry while driving the back roads of Maine you're going to want to hope you're in Falmouth which is where you'll find Harmon's Lunch. It's sometimes referred to as Harmon's Hamburgers.

But this simple but delicious menu is so much more than hamburgers.

The small shop offers an easy-to-navigate menu of burgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, fries and onion rings.

But that's just the start. You expand your order by getting the double burger.

And always, always get onion rings and fries. Even if you're one person.

The menu here is simple, but so is the decor. It could be considered no-frills, but somehow the lack of frills is pretty special.

There's just something about a plastic tray and little cups of ketchup that make this place worth visiting over and over again.

It's about as quintessentially Maine as they come and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Harmon's Lunch is closed on Sunday. They're open Monday through Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can reach them on 207-797-9857.
