1. Rick's Cafe, on the Causeway and Long Lake, Naples

Rick's Cafe is the spot to be during the summertime in Naples. With an upper deck and a patio fit for those who love to have a good time, you'll want to be at Rick's for any holiday or special occasion. 2. River Drivers Restaurant, Across Millinocket Lake, Millinocket

River Drivers isn't on an actual River, but given that it's got the body of water in its name and the view is incredible, we felt it had to be included. People love coming to see the marvel that is Katahdin, others head here on Friday nights for the $10 fish fry. We say that either reason makes perfect sense. 3. David's KPT, Kennebunk River, Kennebunkport

Executive chef, David Turin, is the one to thank for this waterfront spot on the Kennebunk River. They've got unique New American cuisine with wonderful views.

4. The Run of The Mill Public House and Brewery, Saco River, Saco

5. Mill Bridge Restaurant, Fish River, Fort Kent

6. Sprague's Lobster, Sheepscot River, Wiscasset

7. Sea Dog Brewing Company, Androscoggin River, Topsham

8. The Lost Kitchen, Sandy Stream, Liberty

This restaurant located in a restored grist mill on Sandy Stream is completely worth the drive out to reach it. Erin French is completely self-taught. Using recipes passed down from her family, she's improved upon them to make them uniquely her own. The kitchen is manned with those she considers friends, who share her love of locally sourced ingredients and beautifully prepared foods.
