And while it may not be haunted in the sense that there are trapped souls inside... but they're nearby.

For starters, it's located smack-dab between two of New Orleans' most historic cemeteries: St. Patrick's Cemetery and Oddfellow's Rest.

This area of Mid-City is known as the New Orleans Necropolis because there are actually several cemeteries all within walking distance of this coffee shop.

This locally-owned coffee shop is the perfect stop for a much-needed caffeine boost while you tour the city.

It's also very easy to get here from the Canal Street Car.

You'll also find several baked goods (both sweet and savory) to munch on.

Once you've got your beverages and treats, head to the back patio for one of the most unique views in New Orleans.

Yep! The patio overlooks the cemeteries, and you're *right* on the edge of it.

While many would probably turn down the option to enjoy a quiet moment surrounded by gravestones, we think it's quite a lovely spot to honor the dead.
