As you can probably surmise from the name, Mom & Dad's Italian Restaurant was started by a couple that immigrated to the United States in 1977.

While one location in Tallahassee, Florida has been sold, the Valdosta and Thomasville locations remain in the same family.

Each restaurant is cozy and has photos of the owners on the wall, which makes it almost feel like you're eating at a friend or family member's house instead of dining out in a restaurant.

The pasta here is superb, and you can really taste the hand-crafted difference!
