Spanning more than 125 acres, Apple Annie's is easily the most well-known orchard in Arizona. It features tons of different seasonal crops, however, the 6,000+ apple trees definitely speak to what the owners are most passionate about.

Ten different apple varieties include Braeburn, Red Delicious, Fuji, and several others you've likely never heard of before. They're all scheduled to ripen sometime during September, so start planning your trip now!

U-Pick apples go for $1.49/pound, while those which have already been harvested are 20 cents more. Either way, the rates are an absolute steal for such high-quality fruit!

The only thing better than a crisp, freshly-picked apple is what can be made with it. High-quality ingredients make all the difference, giving each pie made at Apple Annie's a nostalgic sweetness reminiscent of grandma's cooking. Hand-crimped crusts and zero preservatives render these scrumptious desserts not only beautiful to look at but bursting with natural sweetness as well.

No matter how stuffed you are, leaving without at least a nibble of the orchard's iconic apple cider donuts would be a travesty. Warm, flaky dough is sprinkled with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar, making for a taste sensation like nothing you've ever experienced.

Before heading out, explore the gift shop's wide selection of local jarred goods like apple butter, jam, salsa, oils, and so much more. There's also a fudge counter, and lunch is served on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Address: 2081 West Hardy Road, Willcox, AZ 85643.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Visit the orchard's website or Facebook page to learn more.
