I don't know about you, but whenever I travel I like to find new, unexpected places to eat a meal. This has resulted in eating at all kinds of places, but one thing I never thought to do was to create a bucket list of restaurants to visit during these travels. Here are a few that make the list:
1. The Asylum, Jerome
Capitalizing on Jerome's haunted history, the Asylum is located inside the Jerome Grand Hotel and offers up a fantastic meal you won't want to miss. Address: 200 Hill Street, Jerome.
2. Cafe Roka, Bisbee
Pricey but delicious, this restaurant serves up a delicious meal in Bisbee's historic downtown area. Address: 35 Main Street, Bisbee.
3. Compass Arizona Grill, Phoenix
The major draw to this location is the view. Sitting on top of the Hyatt in downtown Phoenix, Compass offers some spectacular views that you won't soon forget. Address: 122 North 2nd Street, Phoenix.
4. Delgadillo's Snow Cap Drive-In, Seligman
Found along Route 66, this is a must-stop location for both the food and the quirky décor. Address: 301 West Chino Avenue, Seligman.
5. Durant's, Phoenix
This iconic steakhouse located along Central Avenue in Phoenix is both an Arizona institution and a great place for an old school meal. Address: 2611 North Central Avenue, Phoenix.
6. Elote Cafe, Sedona
Clearly the dish to eat here is the elote, which is a little different from the street versions most people are used to. Address: 771 SR 179, Sedona.
7. Los Dos Molinos, Phoenix
This restaurant is well-known for its super spicy dishes and has several locations across the Phoenix area. Address: 8646 South Central Avenue, Phoenix.
8. Quiessence, Phoenix
One of the best farm-to-table examples existing in Arizona, Quiessence gives customers an incredible meal and ambiance with South Mountain giving a gorgeous view. Address: 6106 South 32nd Avenue, Phoenix.
9. Turquoise Room, Winslow
The winner of many dining awards, this restaurant sits inside the La Posada Hotel in Winslow and offers a beautiful take on Southwestern food. Address: 305 East 2nd Street, Winslow.
