These 9 Amazing Breakfast Spots In Alaska Will Make Your Morning Epic

Discover some of the best breakfast spots in Alaska for an epic morning meal experience.

Mmmm breakfast. The opening act of your hopefully entertaining and delightful day. Are you a fan of the classic bacon, eggs, and toast, or do you proudly order the chicken fried steak, ahem... add some gravy on the hash browns darlin'. Are you an over-easy or scrambled egg kinda guy? Or are you the kinda gal who goes for the sweet treat cinnamon roll pancake-palooza?

Whoever you are and whatever you enjoy, when it comes to the first meal of the day, it's safe to say you need to check out these great Alaskan restaurants for an epic breakfast experience. I know, I know, there are a LOT of amazing places for breakfast in Alaska, but since we can't list them all we tried our hardest to find some of the best.

Please note, The Smoke Shack is temporarily closed.

1) Snow City Cafe, Anchorage.

Even the Anchorage Press has voted Snow City Cafe as the best breakfast in Anchorage every year since 2003! The service will make your day a little brighter and the excellent food will start you off for a perfect day.

Mmmm, now how does this picture not speak for itself? King Crab Benedict with... you guessed it, that famous Alaskan reindeer sausage!

2) The Cookie Jar, Fairbanks.

Hey you early morning sweet-tooths... yeah you, you've got to try the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It's beyond delicious.

The delicious Cinnamon Roll French Toast!

3) Jack Sprat, Girdwood.

It may be a bit of a jaunt from Anchorage, but the weekend brunch at Jack Sprat is well worth the Sunday drive :)

4) The Crepery, Fairbanks.

It's hard not to mention The Crepery when talking about breakfasts in Alaska. It's no surprise you'll find the best crepes in the state here at The Crepery!

This, my friends, is the Nutella and Berries crepe. Oh boy, oh boy!

5) Sand Piper Cafe, Juneau.

The breakfast menu at the Sand Piper Cafe in Juneau is extensive and reasonably priced. Not to mention every plate is darn near delectable.

6) The Smoke Shack, Seward.

Breakfast may not be served all day but the portion sizes will keep you filled up all day at the Smoke Shack! Call ahead to make sure they are still serving breakfast, it varies, but without a doubt stop in your next time visiting Seward.

Feast your eyes on this amazing looking plate of Eggs Benedict! I know where I'm going for breakfast next time I'm visiting Seward!

7) Kava's Pancake House, Anchorage.

OH MY, you must try their Ono Waffles. Doesn't this look delectable?! Open at 7 am every day, you've got to give it a try!

8) Granny B's, Anchorage.

Last I visited, Granny B's is a cash only joint. So be prepared to pay with the green stuff and leave extremely satisfied.

Don't tell me this Chili Omelette doesn't look perfect...

9) Turkey Red, Palmer.

If you're in Palmer, you have to stop at Turkey Red for their fresh breakfast fare. It may seem a little fancy, even for brunch, but the food is always fresh and always satisfactory!

Let us know if there are any other stand out breakfast joints that totally deserve a shout out!
