Sometimes, I just need a quick hiking trail, one that is bursting with natural beauty, to really boost my serotonin levels. Florida has plenty of wonderful hiking trails that aren’t incredibly arduous, could be completed in less than an hour, and won’t take a big lift to finish. Take the Lake Jesup Conservation Area as the perfect example. There are a handful of trails within this area near Sanford, Florida that are worth checking out, but I’m recommending the Marl Bed Point Trail, in particular, as the perfect place to start. At just about two and a half miles in length, this trail offers scenic beauty, plus blossoming wildflowers, that really elevate the experience.
