Don’t you love berry season in Florida? It’s one of my personal favorites. I love being able to head out to my local farm, pick fresh berries straight from the source, and then sprinkle them on my yogurt, into my cereal, or have a handful as a snack. You might not immediately think of Florida as blueberry country, but the state has now climbed to eighth place in the nation for blueberry production. Just twenty years ago, there was no blueberry industry in Florida. And now, you can pick your own! Check out Rooney’s Front Porch, Live Oak, Florida, this summer for u-pick blueberries fresh from the bush.
