Walk Through 40 Lighted Lifeguard Chairs This Holiday Season At Jacksonville Beach In Florida
There is something magical about the holidays in Florida that you can’t quite explain to visitors from other parts of the country. It’s not the snow that makes the holiday season bright, because there is little-to-no snow. It isn’t about the hot chocolate warming your bones on a cold winter’s day. But perhaps a perfect representation of why Florida is the best place to spend the holiday season comes in the form of Deck The Chairs in Jacksonville Beach.
Deck The Chairs in Florida is a seasonal event that brings tons of holiday cheer to Jacksonville Beach.
From the end of November to January 1, 2020, the Latham Plaza & Seawalk Pavilion in Downtown Jacksonville Beach will have tons of lifeguard chairs all decked out in their holiday finest.
This year, too, Deck The Chair partnered with Beaches Go Green which has created a massive Octopus Garden display made of over 15,000 single-use plastic bottles in order to educate the public about plastic use.
