Just outside of town you'll find one of the most underrated natural wonders in Wyoming - the Intermittent Spring.

From the parking area, you'll walk less than a mile before you stumble upon this beautiful gem.

This periodic spring is a geological mystery. It cycles on and off, creating a beautiful cascade that eventually trickles off, before stating up again 15 minutes later.

When the Intermittent Spring is at full force, you'll be mesmerized by its power!

After a few minutes, the flow slows down, eventually to a trickle, and then no water flow at all.

When you notice the spring slowing down, head to the top and wait!

You'll quickly find the head of the spring. Seeing it come to life is a truly unique experience!
