Enjoy an action-packed weekend from start to finish, August 10-13, 2023, at the annual Omak Stampede.

Always held the second weekend of August, the Omak Stampede draws a full house year after year with visitors from all over who come for a weekend of high-energy Western entertainment.

Festivities commence with a morning ride-in and Grand Parade to kick off the event, followed by a Western and Native American Art Show.

One of the Northwest's largest and most respected rodeos, the Omak Stampede honors Native American Culture with an Indian Encampment and a traditional teepee village. This long-standing tradition is sponsored by the Colville Confederated Tribes.

An authentic Native American Pow Wow features native entertainment in the form of dancing, drumming, and singing, as well as traditional games and competitions.

Keep the fun going into the night with carnival rides, a western dance party, a beer garden, and live music.

Wrangler Kid's Night is a fun event for kids ages 12 and under who take to the rodeo floor for various games, activities, and competitions.

Of course, you can't miss the excitement and exhilaration of the many riding events showcasing the skills and horsemanship of the rodeo cowboys and cowgirls.

From bull and bronco riding to barrel racing and steer wrestling, the Omak Stampede features some of the most talented riders and wranglers in the rodeo circuit.

Only the strongest riders complete the race that takes them through treacherous terrain along the Okanogan River and surrounding canyons.
