This holiday theme park is rotting in the woods of Vermont, and it's equal parts enchanting and creepy. Once a playful reconstruction of Santa's arctic hideaway, this park has closed its doors to guests permanently and is covered in magical, crumbling decor. Santa's Land was once a holiday theme park in Putney, Vermont.
The park was modeled after Santa's village at the North Pole, complete with fake snow and whimsical buildings.
The gift shop is still full of merchandise, from ornaments to holiday treats.
Everything is almost completely untouched, including the tiny schoolroom.
Even the children’s old letters to Santa remain, unmailed.
