This Small South Carolina Town Hosts An Annual Summerfest Like No Other

Summerfest in York, South Carolina, is a long-standing summer festival featuring live music, car and motorcycle shows, and family-friendly activities.

Summer is the season of fun! From waterparks to camping trips to amazing festivals and other summer activities, there are always so many choices for a great time. And there's one summer festival in South Carolina that you surely do not want to miss called Summerfest!

This fun summer event has been a local tradition every year since 1983 in the city of York's beautiful Historic District, marking its 40th anniversary this year.

Summerfest features a variety of events, exhibits, and shows including a car show ...

... a motorcycle show ...

... and live music and entertainment on three stages.

A family-friendly event with a fun kids' zone, there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy at this summer festival.

This year, this South Carolina festival takes place on Saturday, August 26.

Browse the arts and crafts vendors and find delicious eats from a number of food vendors. A frappe bar during the warm summer season is surely a welcome sight!

Applications for vendors are currently being accepted and sponsorship opportunities are also available.

The Summerfest 2-Man Captains Choice

Golf Tournament takes place Friday, August 25 at the Spring Lake Golf Club.

The registration fee is $110 per player and the tournament is limited to 116 players.

The fee includes two mulligans per person, green fees and cart fees, a golf polo, a swag bag, prizes, a cocktail party, and awards.
