Sip Your Way Into Summer At TroopTop Thursdays At WaterFire In Rhode Island

Summer is on the horizon here in Rhode Island and our calendars have events and gatherings on them again. What could be better? How about a weekly rooftop gathering at The WaterFire Arts Center in Providence, complete with cocktails, art, and DJ spinning? We thought so. TroopTop Thursdays are officially in full swing, and they're a blast.

The WaterFire Arts Center is located at 475 Valley Street in Providence.

It serves as the headquarters, production complex, and multi-purpose arts venue for WaterFire Providence, a nonprofit arts organization.

Over the years, this venue has hosted exhibits, performances, and numerous public and private events.

And after a very quiet 2020, things are finally picking up.

Every Thursday throughout the summer, you can join other locals right here on this rooftop for a one-of-a-kind party.

TroopTop Thursdays offer a chance to mix and mingle, enjoy libations and snacks, and savor the summer evening.

The event is largely run by Troop PVD.

It's also sponsored by US Rubber Lofts, with beers by Revival Brewing, wine by Anchor & Hope, and cocktails by The Industrious Spirit Company .

You know an event is going to be good when it's hosted by the team responsible for this.

Troop is a one-of-a-kind eatery that is best known for eats, beats, and drinks.

TroopTop Thursdays are held from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m., and reservations must be made in advance.

Each reservation gets you a 90 minute table at the event. And if you're so inclined, you can check out some of the impressive displays inside the arts center.

TroopTop Thursday nights wrap up on August 26 this year.

All good things must come to an end, so get out and enjoy it as often as you can this summer.
