Rhode Island’s Annual Spring Festival Is Returning To Seven Cedars Farm

Seven Cedars Farm in Smithfield, Rhode Island, hosts an annual Spring Festival featuring handmade gifts, baked goods, and blooming flowers.

Spring festivals in Rhode Island mean the flowers are blooming, and we couldn't be happier!  If you love colorful blossoms and other reminders of the season, you'll be happy to hear that the staff at Seven Cedars Farm, in Smithfield, is hosting its annual Spring Festival on May 11, 2024. That means unique handmade gifts for you or someone special, delicious baked goods, and lovely plants and blooms just in time for Mother's Day. Here's why this is one of the things to do in Rhode Island in spring.

Seven Cedars Farm celebrates winter's end with one of the best Rhode Island spring festivals!

This locally operated, family-owned farm has been offering a beautiful bounty to the public for years.

Summers bring fresh produce, such as sweet corn on the cob and a variety of juicy tomatoes.

The farm is operational year-round.

In the fall, guests can come for haunted hay rides, mums, pumpkins, gourds, and scarecrows.

Winters bring the excitement of purchasing Christmas trees, making wreaths, and other holiday decorations to spruce up our homes for the holidays.

But in the springtime, it's all about the flowers.

You'll find colorful spring geraniums, potted and hanging plants, and we love the summer chrysanthemums.

The greenhouse business offers a variety of plants.

If you don't see it - ask!

Choose your designer plots, pre-selected creations, or individual plants.

Sizes and varietals vary depending on the year.

And this year's Spring Festival will be on Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a rain date of Sunday, May 12.

In addition to the beautiful flowers, you'll find plenty of local vendors here.

The vendors will sell jewelry, handmade crafts, and delicious local honey.

Don't forget to save room for the tasty handmade baked goods!

Admission to the festival is free, but don't expect to leave empty-handed.

Between the gorgeous flower pots and the tempting vendors, it's basically impossible.

Seven Cedars Farm is a perfect low-key day trip destination, and this is the perfect time to come.

We think it's the best way to welcome spring in Rhode Island.
