The Newport mansions are famous around the world for being gorgeous all year long, but at Christmas they take on a special kind of magic. This year, visit the mansions in their full glory for holiday memories your family will look back on for years to come.
Each year, three of the most magnificent Newport mansions – the Breakers, The Elms, and Marble House – are bedecked with holiday trees, ornaments, and cheer and opened to the public for festive tours.
You'll find gorgeous Christmas decor scattered throughout the mansions, with the decorations in each room carefully chosen to match the existing color scheme.
This year, you can find a replica gingerbread version of each mansion in its respective kitchen. You'll be amazed at the level of detail!
All three houses will be open for tours daily from November 18 through January 1 (except for Christmas Day).
The Breakers is hosting "Holiday Evenings" on Saturdays until December 30, which offer a great opportunity to enjoy the decor at night, accompanied by musical performances.
Santa himself will visit each of the three mansions one Sunday in December.
The opulent decorations take the already incredible experience of touring the mansions to a whole new level.
