Ohio is home to several unique and peculiar museums worth visiting.

While Ohio is known for some world renowned museums, such as the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, there are also a few peculiar museums worth visiting in the state that you may not have known about. From a mass collection of things swallowed to the history of contraceptives, Ohio is home to some pretty strange museums—a mere day trip away from your discovery.
1) Toy and Plastic Brick Museum
You can find the unofficial version of the LEGO museum in Bellaire.
2) History of Contraception Exhibit
At Case Western Reserve, the Dittrick Medical History Center is home to the History of Contraception Exhibit.
3) Museum of Divine Statues
You can find this simply divine collection in Lakewood.
4) American Sign Museum
The world's largest collection of American signs is in Cincinnati.
5) A Christmas Story House Museum
You can venture inside Ralphie's house, which serves as a museum open to the public in Cleveland.
