If you're not familiar with a paleta, a paleta is a Mexican-style popsical. Co-owners Rafael, Carlos, and Lorenzo Alvarez started Pop Fizz after spending many summers in Mexico and having fond memories of paletas from their childhood.

Now, this awesome shop is serving up paletas with natural ingredients, unique flavors, and so much more. You won't find any artificial flavors in these pops that are made with real cane sugar.

This paleteria also serves as an American soda fountain with a twist. You'll find many ice cream treats, floats, and so much more.

Pop Fizz is also home to incredible ice cream tacos. These tacos are made with a waffle cone shell and dipped in chocolate, and they're always a hit.

Feeling a little less adventurous? You can find an old fashioned ice cream cone here too, or a shake. Pop Fizz even has boozy shakes for the adults.

You won't go hungry here as this paleteria is also home to many fun snacks. From churros to burritos and loaded fries, there's so much to try.

Pop Fizz has two locations: an express drive-thru and their main location. Both are on 4th Street SW in Albuquerque. You'll also find their ice cream truck at events around town where you can stop and grab a fresh paleta or ice cream taco.
