Since we're normally relegated to dining rooms or in front of the television, it's almost shocking how little folks will choose to eat outdoors when they're dining at a restaurant. There's nothing better than a cool breeze against your face while you indulge in a meal that you didn't have to prepare yourself. Pure bliss. At The Dogwood in Nashville, it's not just a killer patio that awaits, but also an incredible menu. This contemporary eatery is well worth a visit, and perhaps a solid repeat.

Located on Division Street in Nashville, The Dogwood lends itself to a youthful and sports-centric crowd.

This is where you come for a platter of nachos and beer on game day, especially since there are 50 televisions on display throughout the space.

There's a rooftop patio as well as lower outdoor space, and every evening there is a DJ spinning solid tunes. The bi-level bar has definitely upped the ante here in Nashville's Midtown, and at least increased the competition for fun.

The menu touts some of the best bar fare in the city. Dogwood is originally an Austin-based eatery, so you'll find everything from burgers and tacos to sliders and mozzarella sticks.

The club sandwich comes highly recommended, though! Don't skimp on the side of fries, either.

This community-oriented space is located in what once was the Soulshine Pizza Factory, and has now become a local watering hole. There's even a small stage for live music, which is par for the course here in Music City.

You can visit Dogwood for yourself from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. from Monday to Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Sundays.
