For The First Time Ever, This Missouri Amusement Park Transforms Into A Winter Wonderland

Kansas City's Worlds of Fun theme park is hosting its first Winterfest, a holiday event with lights, activities, and shows.

Most amusement parks in Missouri close after Labor Day. However, Kansas City's Worlds of Fun theme park is staying open this holiday season. For the first time ever, guests can attend Winterfest at Worlds of Fun which is a magical holiday wonderland full of lights, activities, and holiday shows.

Although World of Fun and Oceans of Fun may not be open for regular hours this December, they are opening for a very special event.

Winterfest is Worlds of Fun's first Christmastime event and visitors are loving the holiday themed activities and decor.

The park is decorated with thousands of sparkling lights and they make it snow every night!

You'll find the whole Peanuts gang ready to celebrate the season plus some other holiday charters as well! There are 10 live shows to see every weekend.

In addition to the live shows, guests can partake in holiday activities like ice skating and cookie decorating. Guests can also ride some of their favorite attractions!

Winterfest is only open Friday through Sundays in December. Admission starts at $25 dollars.

Visit Winterfest this season at 4545 Worlds of Fun Ave., Kansas City. For information on activities and admission visit their website here.
