Every year, the North Shore Scenic Railroad hosts the Great Pumpkin Train, a pumpkin patch train ride. The event only runs for a few days in October and it sells out pretty quick, so you'll want to make sure you get your tickets early. There are multiple rides each day though, so make sure to pick the time that works best for your whole crew.

Train rides begin and end at the Duluth Depot. As a bonus, with your train ticket, guests may tour the train museum before or after their ride for as long as they would like, and you can enjoy live music as well.

As for the train ride, it's full of the scenic beauty of the North Shore. If you're looking for a truly special adventure, guests have the option to pay extra for dome seating. This option allows almost floor-to-ceiling views!

But no matter where you sit, you'll be treated with breathtaking views of the North Shore. Vivid fall foliage certainly makes an appearance...
