Hidden in Boyds, Maryland is an old Victorian Mansion. Once a pristine waterfront getaway on Seneca Lake, this property has been left abandoned.
This structure is known as Winderbourne Mansion, and you can tell that it was a beauty in its prime.
Now, however, it's been left to decay and is easily considered to be among the creepiest places in Maryland. Winderbourne Mansion crumbles more and more each day, from the exterior...
...to the interior as well. Old furniture, knick-knacks, and clothing rest where they were left, while the walls crumble around them.
Boxes full of memories are scattered around the rooms, long forgotten.
The property is nine acres large, and every inch is overgrown by nature. It's as if it's slowly being swallowed by vines.
Can you imagine what this place would look like once cleaned up and renovated? For now, we can only dream...
