This Epic Snow Tubing Hill Near DC Will Give You The Winter Thrill Of A Lifetime

There's no reason to stay inside this winter, even if it's freezing cold outside. If you live in DC and are looking for some fun activities in the cold, we found the best spot for you. The best snow tubing hill is only an hour and a half outside of DC and it is one of the best winter attractions in the area.

Liberty Mountain Resort is a ski resort and conference center in Fairfield, Pennsylvania.

In addition to ski slopes, it's home to the tubing hill, Boulder Hill, which is one of the best tubing hills in the area.

Tubing is awesome good old fashioned winter fun! One of the best things about it is that it requires absolutely no experience.

Unlike skiing, all you need to have fun at Boulder Hill is a tube, which they provide for you! You can sit down on your tube. Or if you're adventurous, lay across it and ride down head first.

And you won't even have to huff and puff up the hill like you would when you go sledding. Boulder Ridge has a moving carpet that will take you right back up to the top for another ride down the mountain!

Tubing is sold in one or two hour sessions that start at the top of the hour so you can take as many trips down the mountain as you'd like. And you can even step inside the lodge to warm up between runs if you need to!

Kids 5 and up can tube down Boulder Hill. There is also a child's tubing hill that ages 4 and under will love! Tubing is fun for the whole family! Thanks to Boulder Ridge, you can easily spend a fun day racing down the hill and be back in DC in time for dinner!
