136 years ago, in 1883, this delightful structure was built. It served as a Methodist church for many years.

When Dan and MaryEllen Oberender purchased it in 1996, they intended to turn it into their own private home. As amazing as that would have been, many people who had memories of the church compelled them to convert it into a little wedding chapel instead. And so, Candle Lit Way was born.

Much of the original stained glass remains, and it's absolutely beautiful.

The stained glass was what drew Dan and MaryEllen to the chapel in the first place.

You'll love taking a stroll through the calming garden, which remains immaculate.
