Sledding is great, but if you're looking for some unforgettable fun, this epic snow tubing hill near Indianapolis will give you the winter thrill you've been seeking.
Strawtown Koteewi Park is a public park just north of Indy, well known for its incredible history center, equestrian trail, archery range, treetop adventures, and gorgeous green spaces.
It's also the best place in central Indiana to experience outdoor fun in the snow!
Located inside this park, you'll find Koteewi Run Seasonal Slopes, the only snow tubing hill for miles around. If you're looking for an awesome snow hill that's way more fun than sledding, this winter park is waiting for you. The tubing hill has several well-groomed lanes that ensure you and your friends can all go tubing at the same time.
To start your adventure, you'll follow signs to the check-in building where you'll receive your tube and get hooked up to the tow to lift you up the 40-foot hill.
You'll tube down the entire hill in approximately 20 seconds, traveling a total of 700 feet.
Once you've reached the bottom of the hill, ride the tow line back to the top and enjoy another run!
You'll love the stunning view the top of the slopes has to offer - if you pause long enough to take it in, that is!
All-day passes for weekdays cost $25 and $40 for weekends. You also have the option of two- and three-hour passes on weekends.
You can purchase passes online here.
