Included with admission is a guide book that includes a map, hand-drawn sketches of each barn, and details about their history. You can visit the locations in any order you wish.
As the event is in its fifth year, special anniversary guide books are also available.
Participants will even be able to go inside some of these old barns for a look around. Be warned though, that it may require walking on some uneven ground.
Each barn has different features and activities taking place throughout the day of this historic barn tour. Some will have fresh markets, model train displays, antique shopping, food vendors, livestock, and much more.
The C & A Svendsen Farm is even scheduled to have a barn raising at 9:30 a.m., giving you a good place to begin your tour.
