If you’re looking for a place to do some bargain shopping or find your next Hawaiian treasures, head to the island of Oahu where you can shop until you drop at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet in Honolulu. Opened in 1979, this massive flea market in Hawaii features more than 400 vendors offering a wide array of both new and used goods, handcrafted items, and so much more. Let’s see what this incredible marketplace has in store.
Located at the state's biggest sports venue, The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet is the largest open-air market of the Hawaiian islands. Vendors set up their wares in booths circling around the stadium itself, so expect to cover a lot of ground while shopping here.
At this flea market, you will find high-quality items from clothing and accessories to furniture, antiques, jewelry, souvenirs, packaged goods, art, handcrafted items, and so much more.
The swap meet is open every Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., and Sundays from 6:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. The price of admission is only $1 per person over the age of 12 which is quite a bargain for the number of goods you'll have access to.
On your bargain shopping extravaganza, you'll find just about everything you're looking for and then some. Of course, farm-grown Hawaiian flowers are a welcome sight to see at a market like this!
If you're searching high and low for inexpensive Hawaiian souvenirs to bring back home, this is the place to get them. You'll find anything from handcrafted goods made by local artists to flower-printed handbags and t-shirts with the word 'Hawaii' printed on them.
Many vendors sell prepackaged food items from the islands like teriyaki sauce, macadamia nuts, dried fruit, and other treats. Buy some to take back home to your loved ones to try.
With numerous dining options, you won't go hungry spending the day at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet! Take a break from all the shopping, grab some delicious grub from one of the vendors, and refuel before continuing on with your bargain-hunting expedition.
With seemingly endless rows of booths to peruse, you'll definitely be able to shop until you drop!
