Few People Know The Small Town Of Braselton, Georgia Is Home To A Massive Antique And Art Festival

Braselton hosts a popular bi-annual Antique and Artisan Festival featuring hundreds of vendors, food trucks, and family-friendly activities.

The town of Braselton is a fairly small one. With a population of around 12,000, it's a decent-sized city, but not one that's well-known outside of its region. It's located about 40 miles north of Atlanta and is in parts of Hall, Jackson, and Gwinnett Counties. There's a surprising amount to do in this area, with plenty of restaurants and shops to check out, as well as the stunning Chateau Elan, one of the best wineries in Georgia. One other attraction in Braselton that draws many to the town is the bi-annual Braselton Antique and Artisan Festival held each year in April and October. The events are so popular that the town now holds smaller mini-markets throughout the year, but the spring event tends to be the largest. This year's spring market will be held Friday, April 21 to Sunday, April 23. It's the 20th year the festival is being held and it's sure to be a blast!

You can expect to find hundreds of vendors set up throughout the streets of downtown Braselton.

Admission to the event is free, and there's even free parking. The town has a free parking deck and you can also park at Braselton Tech and take a free shuttle over to the event.

There are a variety of locally-made crafts available, including home decor and clothing, plus tons of antiques.

The event is family-friendly and kids will find plenty to capture their interest.

Come hungry! More than a dozen food trucks will be on site, so there's something for every taste. You can even get alcoholic beverages or ice cream.

You never know what kind of treasures you'll come across at this great artisan market.
