Tucked among the rural and widely dispersed communities of Alaska are some pretty strange places. We're not kidding either, Alaska is home to an old abandoned igloo-shaped hotel, colorful house-shaped burial grounds, even the world's largest chocolate waterfall! But we're not stopping there, we've found 8 of Alaska's weirdest places and put them into a list for you.
1) The Hammer Museum
That's right, folks. Haines, Alaska has its very own Hammer Museum filled with... you guessed it! Hammers!
2) Dr. Seuss House
In Willow, Alaska there is one really awesome piece of architecture that is famously known as the Dr. Seuss House. I'd want to live in the very top room!
3) A place for outhouse races!
Fur Rendezvous has some pretty weird stuff going on, but we all know that witnessing the outhouse races is the weirdest!
4) Upside Down Tree Garden!
This place is beautiful... but totally freaking weird. Upside down trees, what?!
5) Mukluk Land
What isn't weird about a junkyard theme park?!
6) Moose Dropping Festival
Only in Talkeetna would Alaskans celebrate moose with the worlds weirdest festival, the Moose Dropping Festival. You can even get moose poop jewelry here... no joke!
7) Fairbanks Antler Ranch
In Fairbanks, there is a designated antler ranch with antlers from moose and caribou all over the place! This is the famous Alaskan Antler Arch!
8) Lady of the Lake
Visit Lady of the Lake, a submerged B-29 Superfortress from the '50s! Kinda creepy and definitely weird to me!
