The swinging bridges in Alaska (also known as suspension bridges or foot bridges) that weave their way through the rainforest in Juneau are not for the faint of heart. You'll be gripping the ropes as you cross from one tree to the next, hoping a gust of wind doesn't hit you from out of nowhere. This is one terrifyingly exciting adventure that you won’t want to miss!

The bridges are part of the Alaska Zipline Adventure tour and each one takes you to the next zipline station towering high up in the trees. There is just one drawback, since the bridges are part of the Zipline tour, you will also have to strap into a harness and fly from one tree to the next in order to walk all of the bridges. Zip lining in Alaska is not for the faint of heart!

The bridges are so high up that they actually carry you above many of the trees growing from below. You won't believe how high you are above the forest floor! This outdoor adventure in Alaska is one that you won’t ever be able to forget.

Some people say that the suspension bridges were scarier than the ziplining! I'm sure it is a scary walk, but rest easy - these bridges are very safe and well secured.
