More Than 20,000 People Attend The Yearly Alabama Butterbean Festival And It’s Not Hard To See Why

Festival season is one of our favorite times of year, and each year, Alabama hosts a variety of events. One of the largest and, arguably, best fall festivals in Alabama is the Alabama Butterbean Festival. This annual festival in Pinson offers a little bit of everything, and it’s among the best things to do in Alabama in fall. You can learn all about it by reading on.

The Alabama Butterbean Festival, which celebrates one of the South's most delicious side dishes, is held each year in downtown Pinson, Alabama.

This year's event, which will be celebrating its 19th year, is scheduled to take place on October 4, 2024 and October 5, 2024. Around 20,000 people are expected to attend this festival, which, according to the Alabama State Tourism Board, is Alabama's 2nd-largest festival.

While in attendance at the Alabama Butterbean Festival, don't forget to have your photo taken alongside Bucky, the festival's mascot.
