Market Street, in Wilmington, is packed with bars, restaurants, entertainment venues, and shops. If you’re looking for a fun place to spend the day with family or catch up with friends, this is the top spot! While there are dozens of restaurants all up and down the street, one spot stands out for those looking for delicious handhelds and creative craft beers.
Stitch House Brewery is the latest installment of Market Street bars to pop up in Wilmington, and this one is a winner with craft beer aficionados and anyone looking for a modern twist on cafe fare.
When you step inside, you'll first notice the bright, airy, and open atmosphere. Once you take a look around, it's the friendly staff that will win you over.
There are at least a dozen craft brews on the menu at any given time, and crowd favorites are the My Neck, Maibach, Big Stitch Nick, and Snitchz get Stichz .
But, where they truly stand out from the crowd? The sandwiches. On the best foodie street in Delaware, the Stitch House handhelds draw customers back again and again!
Try something like the "Smoke and Spice," piled high with mortadella, soppressata, capicola, smoked provolone, and pickled long hots topped with basil aioli and spinach, and then served on fresh baked ciabatta.
There are some excellent and creative vegetarian options on the menu at Stitch House, too. Their veggie cheesesteak is made with wild mushrooms, sharp cheddar, beer onions, topped with flavorful parsley aioli.
