The Lavender Festival In Delaware That’s Unlike Any Other
Now that spring has finally come to Delaware, it’s time to get out and enjoy all of the wonderful festivals that are starting to kick off! One of the best festivals in the state is the Lavender Festival, held down in Milton for the past three years. This may be one of the state’s newest festivals, but you’ll love strolling the farm, snacking and shopping at the only lavender festival in Delaware.
Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor is hosting the festival on June 2, 2018.
You can find Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor at 18864 Cool Springs Rd., Milton, DE 19968.
The farm will be bursting with beautiful lavender blooms for as far as the eye can see.
Stroll the farm's pathways as you take in the relaxing scent of fresh lavender - it's unlike anything you've experienced.
At the festival, there will be local vendors selling food, hosting activities, and of course, plenty of artisan vendors.
The famous Soap Fairy's products will be available for purchase, and if you've never tried them, you'll soon find yourself hooked.
In past years, Lavender Fields has made lavender lemonade and lavender ice cream, so look out for unique treats.
Lavender Ice Cream is delicious - but hard to find! Attend the festival to try it for yourself.
Take a few minutes to relax in the Labyrinth.
You may be surprised to learn that the pathway takes up half a mile of walking space! The path is an exact replica of the labyrinth embedded in the floor of the Cathedral of Chartres near Paris, France. This time of year, you'll be surrounded by beautiful blooming wisteria.
Be sure to set aside time to visit this hidden gem right in Milton. The festival is the best time to see the farm in bloom, but you can visit from April through December.
