This 77-room mansion was originally built on 3,000 acres as a gift for Alfred I. DuPont's second wife, Alicea.

The estate and mansion were turned into a museum that preserves much of the French-inspired architecture and decor that A.I. DuPont enjoyed while he lived here.

During the holiday season, the estate becomes one of the most beautiful displays of Christmas decor in the country!

Holiday at Nemours is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. from now until early January. You can catch live entertainment if you visit on Saturdays or in the evenings.
