Delaware has a lot to be proud of on the 4th of July – after all, we were the First State! No wonder our fireworks shows are amazing all summer long. While nothing quite beats the holiday celebrations, there are other great fireworks shows you can catch, if you can’t get enough. Check out the best Delaware fireworks shows below.
All Independence Day celebrations occur on July 4th unless otherwise noted.
1. Bowers Beach 4th of July Celebration
Bowers Beach is known for putting on a good party, and their Fourth of July celebration features one of the best fireworks shows in the state.
2. Rehoboth Beach 4th of July Celebration
On Sunday, July 1, 2018, head to Rehoboth Beach for a fun-filled day of activities celebrating America's independence. Gather on the boardwalk or beach after 8:00 PM and watch the fireworks light up the sky.
3. Delaware City Day
Delaware City Day will be held July 21, 2018, with festivities starting at 11 AM. Enjoy family-friendly activities celebrating one of the best towns in the state before seeing an impressive fireworks display shortly after dusk.
4. Dover's 4th of July Celebration

Dover has a true reason to celebrate Independence Day, considering the important role the city played in establishing the United States! Join them on July 4th for a fireworks show that's always impressive. Spend all day celebrating the birth of our nation and then settle down on the green at 9:25 PM for the show.
5. Dewey Beach Fireworks On The Bay
Dewey's 4th of July celebration is a little more bar-centric... which is why the fireworks are launched from a barge in the bay. You can see the show from any restaurant or bar that faces the Rehoboth Bay, which is plenty of them. Make your reservations ASAP to avoid missing out.
6. Fireworks at the Ballpark, Wilmington Blue Rocks
There's nothing better than pairing a great baseball game with post-game fireworks! The Wilmington Blue Rocks often have post-game fireworks on Fridays and on select home games throughout the season.

7. Lewes Old Fashioned 4th of July Firewors
Every year, hundreds flock to Lewes for their 4th of July celebration. This year, they're setting off fireworks at dusk. Enjoy a day with old fashioned games and fun and top it all off with a spectacular show that's sure to be remembered. The day kicks off at 9 AM on the 4th.
