The Homemade Sauce From Mrs. Robino’s Italian Restaurant In Delaware Is So Good That The Recipe Hasn’t Changed Since The 1940s
When something is pretty much perfect, there’s no need to change it! That’s the philosophy of Mrs. Robino’s Italian Restaurant in Wilmington, Delaware. Mrs. Robino’s has been a landmark in the city’s Little Italy neighborhood since 1940, and it’s their famous sauce that keeps people coming back year after year.
Mrs. Robino's restaurant is a longstanding favorite in Delaware's dining scene.
Not much has changed about this Little Italy restaurant since it opened in 1940. It's been wildly popular ever since, and present-day diners love the old-school atmosphere.
Of course, a vintage atmosphere wouldn't stand on its own without remarkable food, and that's where Mrs. Robino's truly delivers! Their signature sauce is so good that people drive for miles just to sit down for a traditional Sunday supper.
It doesn't hurt that their ravioli are still made fresh by hand, like they've always been. There's such a difference between homemade pasta and the store-bought stuff!
If you just can't get enough of it, the sauce is available to purchase in buckets. It freezes great, so grab some to stock up for your next spaghetti night meals!
If you're not a fan of tomato-based sauce, don't fret. Mrs. Robino's menu features plenty of dishes for every taste, and they're all made fresh and packed with flavor.
