Because our state is known for being one of the poultry capitals of America, it’s hard to believe that the best chicken in Delaware comes from a restaurant that got its start in the U.K. Piree’s Piri Piri Grill is the first American location for a small London legend, and though it’s a hole-in-the-wall, we know you’ll fall in love at first bite.

The name comes from the Piri Piri pepper, and the cuisine was created by blending Portuguese, African, and British influences to create a delicious flavor combination that you'll fall in love with. You can find the restaurant at 5335 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808
Though it's nondescript on the outside, the interior is bright, cheery, and comfortable.
