Everyone Goes Nuts For The Hamburgers At This Nostalgic Eatery In DC
A well-cooked burger is truly one of the most satisfying things in the world. There’s nothing quite as good as a flavorful, juicy burger with a side of well-seasoned fries. We have our choice of good burger places in DC but there’s none like Ollie’s. Ollie’s Trolley is truly the best nostalgic burger joint in DC!
Ollie's Trolley is an old-fashioned burger eatery that has been a DC institution since 1988.
Ollie's Trolley stands out from chains with its old-time feel, but at one time, it
was part of a national chain. The Ollie's Trolley chain began in the 1930s.
Most of the other Ollie's Trolleys have closed but DC is one of the few that has remained.
The DC location keeps the heart of the old-fashioned chain alive while including modern upgrades and new twists.
The inside of the restaurant is packed with vintage decor and a cozy feel.
There are antiques scattered all over the restaurant, booths, and tables.
The burgers are, of course, the crowning achievement of Ollie's Trolley. They have stuck to the signature recipe and their burgers are made with more than 30 different spices and the signature Ollie's sauce. The diner always serves the burgers hot and freshly made with only the freshest ingredients.
If you don't like burgers, there are other menu items to try, including the fish sandwich, crab cake sandwich, or turkey burger.
Or you can try the chicken cheesesteaks, half smoke, hot dog, or pastrami sandwich.
Round out your meal with a freshly baked homemade cake or hand-spun milkshake.
Ollie's is definitely a gem among the high priced burger chains in the area. It will take you back in time and is sure to delight your taste buds!
Ollie’s Trolley is located at 425 12th St NW. They are open daily.
